Raja Rao : A Tribute - Bibliography

Currently a Research Scholar at The University of Manchester, U.K., Letizia Alterno compiled the following bibliography during her M.Phil research work on Raja Rao at Kakatiya University, A.P., India in 2003.

She has recently completed an introductive volume on the work of Raja Rao, which will be published shortly in India by Foundation Books, partner of Cambridge University Press, and is working on the project of a biography on the author together with Rao's wife Susan. She is also translating two of Raja Rao's novels into Italian for a major Italian publisher.

A special thanks to Dr. Rajeshwar Mittapalli, who encouraged the idea of compiling a thorough and systematic bibliography and provided total understanding and support throughout.

The purpose of this bibliography (which follows the MLA Style) is to provide serious research scholars and academics with helpful - and not always easy-to-get - primary and secondary reference material on Raja Rao's oeuvre, published in India and abroad. The author sincerely wishes it will be useful both for the ones involved in systematic research and for the ones who are seriously interested in this Indian novelist.
